RESEARCH

For this project my research has mostly been secondary, as I have had to research the company in its entirety and become familiar with the brand. I have had also had a look at previous North Face campaigns to inspire me and help me become familiar to the North Face style so that the content I produce will be cohesive with The North Face brand. I have also taken a look at different campaigns that empower women and celebrate them.

After producing my first rough cut, I have gained feedback that was quite mixed, I did this by creating a survey and presenting the video to the class.

VIDEO INSPIRATION

These are all different techniques that i had looked; I considered using them in my piece however due to time constraints and the developing of my video, it turns out I didn't need to use all of these effects and techniques.

The style of my video changed therefore I no longer needed to add the 'travelesque' type features such as the moving hand gestures or the DIY GoPro.

This is a collection of images that demonstrate the videos I used to gain inspiration for my video. I recognised the differences and similarities and tried to replicate some of these in my own video. for example, all the videos have women in the foreground and they are often the only gender within the advert. So I made sure I had a womens-only  cast to reinforce the message I wanted to portray.
