FEEDBACK
Here is where all my feedback for the duration of the project is displayed. i gained internal and external feedback from class members and strangers that were interested in my project.
Feedback No.1
Based on this feedback I wanted to ensure that the colour and overall aesthetic of the video had changed. I wanted to make sure there was a significant difference between the first rough cut and the second rough cut.
The feedback I received was very clear that the music was appropriate, however, not everyone liked the music so I though it be best to find a piece that leaves no question of whether the music was the right fit or not.
Feedback No.2
Here, i posted on Reddit to gain some feedback this was difficult as it was important for me to half enough Karma so that I could post on the site. Also I had to ensure that it met all the guidelines and requirements. This was very difficult for me to obtain as it was hard to figure ou what guidelines and rules had actually been broken.
However, i was still able to get engagement, although small. The results here are a lot more obvou as they differ to the last - 100% of people understood the narrative and thought the music was appropriate. confirming that I was right to change the audio and work on making my narrative stronger
The pie charts show a mixture of results referring to the different types of effects I used in my video. When looking at these I knew that I had to make some changes to the actual aesthetic of my video by fine tunning some of the effects
The effect I looked at changing the most was the Old Film Grain layer, this was because when reading commentary, it was said that the grain was actually too much and overbearing, therefore I changed the setting down from 50 opacity to 25 to give it a more subtle look s the feedback for was mixed..
Mixed results that made it confusing to actually know what worked and what didn't.
The highlighted text displays the commentary that was most constructive in helping me make the final decisions for creating my video, knowing what to alter, add and remove; helping me to understand why my video works and what I should continue to do to ensure my video is hitting the brief.
